Integral Action Community Training [ I-ACT ]
I-ACT is the newest cutting-edge SYNTHESIS program which connects “Integral Theory” models developed by philosopher Ken Wilber & contemporary organizing skills and tactics for new leaders. Over the course of a series of workshops & seminars, participants will be collaborating in supportive team networks & will be empowered to collaborate together to create campaigns and community actions after the program is completed.

Currently, our “next generation” is continuing to use outdated methods to achieve social and environmental justice. In an interconnected and interrelated world, most youth and student activists are focusing their energies on single issues and identity politics, missing the opportunity to create new solutions to our most challenging domestic and global problems.
Wilderness Awareness & Survival Skills
The Wilderness Awareness & Survival Skills training is a series of workshops facilitated by wilderness tracker & teacher Jon Delson, who has trained with Tom Brown, Jr. for over 20 years. In this workshop series, participants will discover what it means to be a human living in harmony with nature. We will learn and test our skills in primitive fire building with bow-drill(no matches or lighters allowed), shelter building with mud, leaves and branches, foraging and primitive cooking & locating & purifying water. We will also practice basic wilderness awareness skills including sit spot, owl eyes and fox walking. This series will be offered seasonally, to find out more info contact us at synthesisrising@gmail.com.
"For me, Synthesis is a fun way to connect with
like-minded people who also want to make a difference in
our school and community. Synthesis also makes me so much
more aware of the world and makes me feel empowered that
           I can make a difference."
